I am opinionated and often rude, so this might be a good time to mention that any opinions I express here are strictly my own. They may occasionally coincide with, but are never intended to represent, the positions of my employers, friends, family, partner, pets, acquaintances, plants, neighbors, or fellow members of any organized group or loosely affiliated movement to which I belong, unless I specifically say something like, “All feminists believe____________”. In which case you should take me to task sternly and with extreme prejudice. Unless I’m joking, in which case you should laugh heartily. If the position I take differs from any of the above entities, just keep in mind that I’m not part of any borg collective, as easy as that might make it to get dressed in the morning.
